I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a Bachelors’ Degree in Elementary Education. I have added an Early Childhood Endorsement through Peru State.

My husband Mark and I live in Bellevue and have been married for 32 years. We have two children Matthew and Laura and a daughter in-law, Melissa, who all live in Omaha.

My family worships at St. Matthews, in Bellevue, Nebraska. My first teaching job was in Copperas Cove, Texas, a small town by Ft. Hood. I spent three wonderful years teaching 1st grade before moving to Germany where I ran a Co-op Preschool for the Department of Defense. After moving to Nebraska in June of 2000, I taught Preschool for two years and then Kindergarten for seven years at Pilgrim Lutheran in Bellevue, Nebraska. Prior to coming to St. Mark I worked as a contractor on Offutt Air Force Base for Parents as Teachers Heroes at Home as an in-home visitor for children birth- to age-3-years-old. This is my seventh year at St. Mark Preschool as the Director and Lead teacher for our 3-year-old and Pre-K classes. I love being an early childhood educator and am honored to share the love of Jesus with children.

I enjoy reading, horseback riding, cooking, gardening and woodworking. My dad, siblings, and in-laws all live in Nebraska, so we are blessed to be able to spend time with our family.

On the personal side, I am married and have a son who lives in Atlanta, Georgia area. I was raised in Hays, Kansas and grew up living on a dairy farm. My husband and I have lived in Omaha for the past 25 years. We are active members at Christ Community Church where we serve in the music and counseling ministries.

I’m excited to teach the 3-year-old class at St. Mark Preschool.

I graduated from Dana College in Blair, NE with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education, and did some substitute teaching in my early years right after college. I was a stay-at-home mom for many years and in those years I’ve enjoyed teaching Sunday School, Junior Church, Vacation Bible School, as well as volunteering in my children’s schools.

My husband Mitch and I have three children, Emily, Ben, and Leah. We live in the Elkhorn area and attend Relevant Community Church.

In my spare time I enjoyed playing my flute, reading, playing piano, sewing and traveling.

I grew up on a farm outside Lyons, Ne where I enjoyed taking care of the many animals I had. I have lived in Omaha for 15 years and graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a speech communication major. My husband and I have been married for 12 years and have two daughters. Olivia (10) and Sydney (6) both attend Concordia Academy. We have two dogs, two cats and a guinea pig. I enjoy spending time with my family watching movies, reading and paying games

Pastor Eric Jay is a Southern California native, and was called to serve St Mark in August 2017.

Pastor Jay graduated with a Master's in Theology and Culture as a student of St Louis Seminary via the Cross Cultural Ministry Pastoral Certification Program (CMC) located at Concordia University in Irvine, California. The CMC focuses uniquely upon equipping students and future pastors to infiltrate strategic urban settings as church planters. As such, Pastor Jay spent the first 3 years after graduation pastoring The Gathering; a church plant of which Pastor Jay was founder. In October 2012 Pastor Jay received his first formal call to St John's Lutheran Church in El Segundo, Ca whereupon he was also ordained.

After accepting St Mark's call in August 2017, Pastor Jay preceded his wife Sarah and daughter Elizabeth who later joined him, moving to Omaha this past September. With degrees in Music Performance, both Eric and Sarah love music (they met and married while attending the Chapman Conservatory of the Arts), the arts and the outdoors in their spare time...that is whenever they are not joyfully busy with little "Lizzy".
